FRIENDS OF THE AUSTRIAN PAVILION
The Federal Ministry of Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport provides the major part of the necessary funds for financing Austria’s contribution to the Biennale. In order to cover the total costs for the respective exhibition, the accompanying publication, and the supporting programme, additional sponsors and supporters are needed. On the occasion of the ninetieth anniversary of the Austrian Pavilion in 2024, the group ‘The Friends of the Austrian Pavilion’ has been established for the long-term support of the Austrian contributions. Consisting of art lovers, experts, and philanthropists, the Friends of the Austrian Pavilion support the realization of the projects for Venice and in return receive exclusive insights into the development of the exhibitions.
